While she enjoys editing in almost any form, having previous experience in her high school’s art and literature magazine, she also indulges in reading books, watching documentaries, and playing video games in her free time.

Batya is an editor for Psych News. She majors in psychology with a focus on developmental processes, and minors in English. She enjoys reading about new developments in the psychological field and participating in research studies. In her free time she enjoys watching romantic films, dreaming up creative art projects and exploring New York City.

Angie is a writer and blogger for Psych News. She majors in psychology with an animal behavior concentration. She likes to read psychology research regarding attachment, relationships, and behavioral analysis in her free time and shares what she learns with her friends. She also loves animals, especially cats and dogs.

Emile is a writer and blogger for Psych News. He majors in psychology at Hunter College and hopes to continue his studies in graduate school in I/O Psychology. Having grown up with one foot in the US and another in Europe, he has a passion for understanding different cultures and approaches to important issues. In his free time he enjoys watching old films, exploring food spots, and passionately routing for the Knicks.

Dina is an editor for Psych News. She majors in psychology and minors in Hebrew. She enjoys psychology research and hopes to pursue a career in neuropsychology. She enjoys learning about environmental studies and philosophy, and in her free time swims and explores the Metropolitan Museum of Art with friends.

Tal is a writer for Psych News and a clinical psychology major at Hunter College. She hopes to pursue a PhD program in clinical psychology. Right now she is working as a lab assistant in the HEART lab at Hunter College. In her free time, she loves reading, doing yoga, and meeting with friends.
Celine Elaine Persad

Celine is a writer for Psych News. She majors in physiological psychology at Hunter College. Celine aspires to be a neuropsychologist. She has recently found an interest in environmental psychology and hopes to draw on this field in her future research. Along with reading up on climate change events, Celine’s interests and hobbies lie in watching horror films, reading classical novels, and exploring museums.

Veranika is a writer for Psych News. She majors in psychology and runs her own business. She plans to unite her two passions of psychology and entrepreneurship and obtain a Master's Degree in I/O psychology after graduating from Hunter. She loves reading about neuroscience, creating art, and traveling in her free time.

Eleni is an editor for Psych News who’s had the chance to work with some excellent students! She is graduating in the fall with a major in human biology, with hopes to apply to medical school in the near future. She enjoys going to zumba and late nights out with friends. Eleni is particularly interested in social and environmental activism!

Anindita is a writer for Psych News. She is currently majoring in psychology. Anindita's interest in writing stems from her experience as a staff writer and social media editor for her highschool newspaper. She also has a background in music and dance, and enjoys reading in her free time–when she has it!

Majda is a writer for Psych News and a clinical psychology major at Hunter College. She first found her love for journalism when she took a class in the subject in middle school. Some of Majda’s hobbies are in photography, fashion, and television. She plans on going to graduate school to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.
